We don't hear a lot about B.C.'s Traffic Fine Revenue Sharing program except when the government is handing out grants to the municipalities. The money is supposed to be employed to "support community safety and address local policing priorities."

Question: If an officer serves a traffic ticket to a driver and makes an error on that ticket, how are they required to serve an amended traffic ticket to the driver? Is there a requirement for the same proof of service as serving the original copy?
You've just received a traffic ticket and from your point of view the officer definitely had a bad attitude when they issued it to you. I'll dispute the ticket and tell the court exactly what I think may cross your mind as you consider your situation. Surely the justice will see your point and give you a break.
Sos Yeghiyan was issued a traffic ticket for speeding with a ticketed amount of $196. He paid the discounted amount and later on had second thoughts about doing so. Mr. Yeghiyan appealed his conviction and attempted to withdraw his guilty plea. He was not successful.
Does "at or near" extend to the wrong municipality? The boundary between two neighbouring municipalities is named Street B. This street has a wide grassy median dividing it. I was travelling on one side of Street B when I was stopped by the police and issued a traffic ticket.
"I'll see you in traffic court!" This hollow threat often ended conversations at the roadside after a driver was issued a traffic ticket for a violation. I knew that few of them would actually carry out their intention and if they did, there would probably be no coherent defence made.
On May 3, 2023 Barry Johnson entered the intersection of West Hastings and Bute Streets in Vancouver. He was issued a traffic ticket for failing to stop at the yellow light. That ticket showed the location of Hastings and Bute Streets which Mr. Johnson told the justice did not exist at his dispute.
