I was hit by a car today in Ladysmith BC. I was walking my dog on the sidewalk a car drove out of the drive thru , did not look and hit me hard enough to knock me a few feet to the ground. I call the rcmp. No charges for the driver. I seemed to be at fault. Please explain
From time to time in Metro Vancouver I end up driving behind a vehicle that is billowing smoke and exhaust fumes that cause me to gag in my vehicle. This happened to me yesterday in Surrey BC when I was behind a red Honda Civic with a BC license plate.
I'm a semi truck driver and I've been cut off so many times by passenger vehicles racing around me to take an off ramp. They pull in front and hit their brakes. It's been close a couple times to the point I'm going to buy a dashcam to protect myself.
What is the rule when two or more vehicles arrive at a roundabout (traffic circle) at exactly the same time from four different directions. Do you yield to the vehicle on your right? (as you would at a four way intersection).
The scenario is a two car accident. Both parties have different versions of what happened but it happened in a gas station parking lot with video cameras pointed at the location of the accident. Hi, I recently received a bylaw parking ticket from the city of Victoria. In the disclosure request, one of the pictures I received shows the commissionaires scooter parked in violation of a yellow line. I looked in the bylaw but did not see specific exemption, similar to what emergency vehicle have in the motor vehicle act, allowing the commissionaires to park in violation of the bylaw. Have you heard of this before?
How many times will the courts allow a case to be posponed? I am fighting an elleged excessive speeding ticket.
My lawyer was unable to attend the first date due to scheduling conflict. Now my lawyer has moved on and I need another lawyer. Will the courts allow a second date to be posponed. Next date is approx 1 month from now.

Question: I am 32 year old with a driving experience of more than 10 years from India. Currently I am a Learners license holder for class 5. I have been told by one of the driving schools that I need to display the 'L' sign on my car while I drive with a supervisor.
I just bought a 50 cc scooter and was really hoping you could help me with two questions. It is a 2003 Yamaha BWS. First, can I drive it with my Learners license? I am turning 16 in a week, and know many people who ride them around with they're L, or so they say, but I can't find any for sure legislation. Second, can I take two people with my L?
