The case of Okines v Mr. Rent-A-Car involves a collision between Justine Okines, a cyclist riding through, and Brodie Davison, a driver turning left in the intersection Davie Street and Pacific Boulevard in Vancouver.

This case of involves a single vehicle crash where the driver swerved to avoid a collision with a deer. Mr. Justice Verhoven was asked to determine whether the driver or the deer was at fault for the crash.

The case of Stempowicz v Dobbs involves a collision at the intersection of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Langford Parkway in Langford. Tienna Stempowicz was travelling northbound on Veterans Memorial Parkway  intending to turn left onto Langford Parkway.

The case of Dahlke v Davidson involves a collision that occurred on Centre Street between Pacific and Royal Avenues in White Rock. Kelby Dahlke was parked at the curb of Centre Street facing southbound and wanted to join traffic. Heather Davidson was approaching his parked position, not fully paying attention to driving. When Mr. Dahlke lurched into traffic Ms. Davidson did not react immediately and a collision resulted.

He was driving! No, I wasn't he was driving! The case of Somers v MacLellan involves a single vehicle collision with two vehicle occupants that occurred one night on the Old Fort Loop Road in Fort St. John. Cody Somers was ejected from the vehicle and Richard McLellan remained inside.

Karen Nishimura was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a collision that caused her injury. During her recuperation she used up the banked sick time she had accumulated through her job. Realizing that she might need that sick time if she did not heal from her injury properly or that it would not be available to take as a benefit when she retired, she asked ICBC to compensate her for it.

The case of Jaura v Rosal involves a right angle collision at the intersection of Inverness Street and 49th Avenue in Vancouver. Traffic on 49th Avenue was stopped bumper to bumper in both directions and Ms. Jaura had stopped at the stop sign northbound on Inverness Street. She intended to travel straight through the intersection.

Failing to remain at the scene of an accident, or hit and run as it is more commonly known is without a doubt a daily occurrence in British Columbia. We all know that we are doing something seriously wrong when we hit a cyclist, pedestrian or other vehicle on the highway and leave the scene to escape civil and criminal liability. However, we're not quite so worried when the collision is a scrape or a dent in a parking lot or something else that we can convince ourselves is of a minor nature.

A learner driver who had made a serious error in judgment asked about collision coverage. He had taken the family car without consent, did not have the required supervisor present and caused a crash. What kind of trouble would he be in?

The case of Stevens v Sleeman arises from a fatal collision at the intersection of Lougheed Highway and Nelson Street in Mission. At 5:10 am on October 10, 2016 the traffic lights at the intersection lost power and ceased to function. By 3:08 pm power had not been restored and a collision occurred that claimed the life of Barbara McNally.
