Q&A - Changing Lanes After Turns at Intersections

Q&A ImageQuestion: When I'm in the advance left turn lane, and I am on the green, entering a 2 lane roadway, how far do I have to drive before I can change into the right lane? I had a situation where a new driver was entering the right lane after making a right turn on a right turn on red. They became upset with me for changing lanes from left to right.

This question has two answers, depending if the pedestrian is at an intersection with or without operational traffic lights.

Q&A - Disputing my failing to stop ticket

Q&A ImageI approached a 4 way stop, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that I stopped. I waited & proceeded straight through the intersection as there were no cars approaching the intersection from any direction.  This happened about 10 pm at night, at an intersection about 3 blocks from my home, so it is an intersection I am very familiar with.
